I became symptomatic for idiopathic torsional dystonia back in 2001 while working on my Ph.D. at the U of Michigan. Even though dystonia can be a constant, nagging pain, life is beautiful and precious. Since being diagnosed, I have experienced both good & bad. I took up cycling even though I have issues walking. In 2015 I married the love of my life. I have decided not to let dystonia DEFINE me; I want to live life…and defy dystonia.
Amos loves sitting on things...including people and his sister! While my parents were visiting, Amos loved to chew his Rawhide while on top of my Dad's foot. Myrtle usually just lets him sit on her.
